Tickets & Membership
Admission to the Science Center in St. Louis is FREE, however there are some ticketed exhibits.
Omnimax Theatre - $11 for adults and $9 for kids
McDonnell Planetarium Shows - $6 for adults and $5 for kids
Discovery Room - free for Science Center members, $5 per visit for non-members
Membership is $99 for a family and $79 for an individual & guest pass
St. Louis Science Center Membership includes free parking, free Omnimax Theater and Planetarium tickets, and discounts on special exhibits
How long does it take to go through the Science Center in St. Louis?
If you rush through you can be done in an hour or two but my family could spend 4-5 hours here easily.
Do you have to pay for parking at the St. Louis Science Center?
Yes you have to pay for parking at the St. Louis Science Center. It costs $15 during the summer and $12 Labor Day to Memorial Day.
Do you have to make a reservation for the Science Center St. Louis?
For general admission you do not need to make a reservation beforehand. If you plan to see a film at the Omnimax or visit any other ticketed exhibit then you can purchase tickets online in advance. Occasionally these ticketed events sell out so it’s a good idea to book ahead.
Does the St. Louis Science Center require masks?
Currently the St. Louis Science Center does not require visitors to wear masks.
The St. Louis Science Center is one of the best museums in St. Louis and definitely one of my favorite places to take my kids. Their educational and fun exhibits make the whole family happy. Highly recommend adding to your St. Louis itinerary.
