Missouri History Museum
St. Louis history museum
The Missouri History Museum in St. Louis is one of the hidden gems of our city. I’ve lived in the St. Louis area for over 15 years and had never visited till this year! I was really blown away by the quality of the St. Louis History Museum exhibits and especially the Children’s History Clubhouse area.
History Clubhouse
The History Clubhouse at the Missouri History Museum is such a great place to take kids in St. Louis. The kids exhibits are educational but still super fun! My boys loved the interactive exhibits and could have stayed here all day. I kept thinking to myself “I can’t believe this is free!”
St. Louis Indoor Activity For Kids
If you’re looking for a great indoor activity for kids in St. Louis the Missouri History Museum is a great option. It’s educational, air conditioned, and most importantly fun! I would say kids ages 2-10 would have the best time at the History Clubhouse.
Free Things to Do With Kids in St. Louis
One of the best things about the Missouri History Museum and the History Club is that it’s totally FREE! Entry to the History Museum in St. Louis is free and then you just sign in to get into the kids History Club area. My boys could spend hours here so it’s a great free indoor activity for kids in St. Louis.

My boys loved the soccer video game at the Soccer City Exhibit. Pretend to be your favorite all star players in a multinational game.

Missouri History Museum
Whether you’re a St. Louis local or visiting from out of town I highly recommend visiting the Missouri History Museum. The history behind the building alone is enough to warrant a visit. The kids History Clubhouse is better than many paid kids museums, so if you have children it’s a great outing. It’s a place for the whole family to enjoy and learn in St. Louis.
